北京办理签证面签流程，到哪取护照？签证代办公司什么时候上班？

I need to apply for a visa. How can I do it?

办理签证程序：

办理签证分“自办”（自行前往公安局办理）和“代办”（签证代办公司）两种：

There are two ways to apply for your visa. The first way is to apply it by yourself, which suggests that you need to go to the Police Station to apply for your visa. The second way is to apply it by the agency, which means you can give your visa documents to the agents and they will help you to get it, but you are expected to pay extra money for their service.

1)“自办”：在留学生办公室领取并填写《外国人签证证件申请表》，填写前三项（1，2，3）后交给留办老师签字且盖章（信息需与护照一致）。

1) By yourself:

Step1: Get an application form (as shown in the following picture) in International Students Office (ISO) and complete part1, 2, and 3 on the form.

Step2: Take this form to ISO staff, have it signed and stamped. (All the information on the form must be correct.)

2)“代办”：在留学生办公室领取并填写“交接单”第一项（学生姓名、护照号、学号、联系电话），然后由留办老师签字。（英文名字或中文名字都可以）

2) By agency:

Step1: Get your delivery receipt (as shown in the following picture) in ISO and complete part 1 (your name, either English or Chinese/passportnumber/student number/phone number).

Step2: Take this form to ISO staff, have it signed.

温馨提示：

1.       请仔细核对护照有效期，以免过期；

2.       请仔细核对签证到期时间以免缴纳罚款；

3.       自费留学生需先缴纳学费再办理签证业务，办理签证时携带学费发票；

4.       曾持有蓝色“居留许可证”的同学不需要体检报告；其他签证（如旅游签证）转为“居留许可证”，需要体检报告，请及时前往体检中心体检；在自己国家做的体检报告，需要携带体检报告到体检中心验证之后方可用作办理签证。

Notice:

1.Please check the expiration date of your passport.

2.Please check the expiration date of your visa. Once your visa gets expired, you will be warned by the police officer and be fined 500 yuan/day.

3.Self-financed students must pay the tuition BEFORE they apply for the visa. Students must bring the tuition receipt when apply for the visa.

4.Students who have old residence permit do not need to do the physical examination. Students who hold other types of visa must submit the physical examination report. If you already have the physical examination done in your own country before you came to Beijing, please bring your report to the hospital to have your documents verified.

Do I have to go for a visa application interview?

根据《中国出入境管理法》的规定，以下三类留学生需要面签

1.首次申请学习类居留许可的学生；

2.申请办理短期学习签证（X2）的学生；

3.曾持北京签发的学习类居留许可，出入境持短期签证重新入境，再次申请学习类居留许可的学生。

According to the regulation of The Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, the following three types of students must take a visa application interview.

Type 1. Students who apply for the student visa (X visa) for the first time.

Type 2. Students who holds X2 visa.

Type 3. Students who already have an academic residence visa issued in Beijing before, but went abroad and used a short-term visa re-entered China again, must apply for the academic residence permit again.

注意：以下三类留学生不需要面签。

1.持外地签发的学习类居留许可，在京申请学习类居留许可的留学生；

2.持北京签发的其他种类居留许可，换发学习类居留许可的学生；

3.曾在北京办理学习类居留许可，因学业结束等原因申请一个月内停留签证，再次申请学习类居留许可的学生.

Notice: 

 

 The following three types of students do not need to have an interview.

Type 1. Students with an academic residence permit issued in other cities but want to apply for a residence permit in Beijing.

Type 2. Students with other types of residence permit but want to change it into academic residence permit.

Type 3. For students who want to apply for a new academic residence permit but he has already had an academic residence permit in Beijing before and has applied for a 30-day visit visa by virtue of completion of studies or some other reasons.

必须保证手机畅通，代办公司会通过短信提醒面签的时间和地点。

Please keep your phone power-on at all times. The agency will send you the text message about the time and location of the interview.

面签需携带材料：

1.有效护照或者其他国际旅行证件；

2.使用黑色墨水笔完整填写《外国人签证证件申请表》，粘贴一张2寸近期白色背景正面免冠照片，加盖招收单位公章.

3.住宿登记表；

4.入学证明或在学证明；

5.202表；

6.体检合格表。

Documents needed for the interview:

①The applicant's valid passport or other valid international travel documents.

②Fully completed Visa/Staypermit/Residence permit application form in black ink, with a two-inch colored white background photo and an official seal of RUC.

③The applicant's temporary accommodation registration form.

④The applicant's Certificate of Enrollment or Admission Notice from the university.

⑤JW202 (Visa application forstudy in China)

⑥The applicant's medical certificate.

Where can I get the visa?

选择“代办”的同学请根据收据上写的时间，按时到代理公司取回护照，并立刻做新的住宿登记；选择“自办”的同学根据“黄单子”（“取护照回执”）上写的时间，按时到公安局出入境管理处取回护照，交费，并立刻做新的“临时住宿登记”。

By yourself: 

Take the receipt to Beijing Municipal Bureau of Public Security and get your visa back in time. The time is already shown on your receipt.

By agency:

Take the receipt issued by the agency and get your visa back in time. The time is already shown on your receipt.

When is the working hour of the agency?

每周一、三、四下午13点到16点,在高丽会馆大厅。

Every Monday/Wednesday/Thursday from 13:00 to 16:00, in the lobby of International Cultural Exchange Center.

办理签证延长，我需要哪些材料？

What kind of material do I need if I want to extend my visa?

“自办”：留办老师签字盖章的“签证申请表”、护照、临时住宿登记、照片（二寸白底）和其他材料（录取通知书、JW202表）。

“代办”：请询问前台旁的代理商。（留办老师签字的“交接单”、护照、临时住宿登记、照片（二寸白底）和其他材料（录取通知书、JW202表））。

By yourself: 

Visa application for Study in China, with the signatureof ISO staff, passport, temporary accommodation registration form, a two-inchcolored photo with white background and other material such as the admissionnotice, JW202.

By agency:

How much do I need to pay if I want to apply for a visa?

“自办”请询问公安局相关人员，留办不予负责;“代办”请询问前台旁的代理商。

By yourself: Please ask the staff at Beijing Municipal Bureau of Public Security.

By agency: Please ask the agency for specific information.

我的签证过期了怎么办？

What should I do if my visa is expired?

应先到北京市公安局海淀分局接受处罚，持“处罚单”，然后前往留学生办公室办理相关签证延长手续。

You should go to the Haidian Public Security Sub-bureau to take the punishment and bring the ticket to ISO, then apply for the visa’s extension.

怎么办理临时住宿登记？

How can I make a temporary accommodation registration?

住在校内的，持护照在高丽会馆前台办理；住在校外的，如果是宾馆，持护照在宾馆前台办理；如果是公寓或民房，持护照在当地的派出所办理办理。

If you live on campus, you can get your temporary accommodation registration form at the front desk of GaoliBuilding. If you live in a hotel, you can get it at the front desk at the hotel. If you rent the house or apartment off campus you can get it at the local policestation with your passport.

注：搬家、更新护照、取得新签证后，都应该立刻做“临时住宿登记”。

Notice: When you move to a new place, please update your information with ISO and get a new temporary accommodation registration form immediately.

我的护照丢了怎么办？

What should I if I lose my passport?

来留学生办公室前，应先到“派出所”报案，取得报失证明，并去学校相关办公室取得“在学证明”（本科生、研究生去北区食堂609室学籍科，进修生去国际交流中心108室留学生办公室），再来留学生办公室办理签证。

You need go to the police station first and get a police report. Then you should go to related office to get a studying certificate. After that,please bring all the documents to ISO.

Notice: Undergraduate and graduate students can get the certificate at Room 609, Students Division, Northern Canteen. Non-degree students can get the certificate at ISO.

我更新了护照怎么办理签证延长？

How can I extend my visa if I update my passport?

在中国取得新护照的，应在拿到新护照的10天之内办理签证；在本国取得新护照的，持新旧两本护照入境，在签证到期前来办理延长。

If you get your new passport in China, you should apply for a visa with in 10 days. If you get yournew passport in your own country, please bring both of your old and new passports to ISO for extension before your visa expires.

寝室门口贴着的提醒签证过期的条子应该如何处理？

How can I deal with the notice pasted on the door of my dormitory that reminds me of the expiration date.

办理完签证延长后，及时持护照在高丽会馆前台更新住宿信息。

Please update your accommodation information at the front desk of International Cultural Exchange Center with your passport after you get the new visa.
