　　Jack Ma, founder and chairman of Alibaba, announced that Alibaba plans to spend 10 billion yuan ($1.51 billion) on poverty alleviation in the next five years, at the launching ceremony of the Alibaba Poverty Relief Fund in Hangzhou city, East China’s Zhejiang province, on Friday.

　　阿里巴巴创始人兼董事长马云于本周五在中国东部浙江省杭州市举行的阿里巴巴扶贫基金启动仪式上宣布，阿里巴巴计划在未来五年内投入100亿元人民币(约合15.1亿美元)用于扶贫工作。

　　Every penny of the fund is raised by the company, said Ma. "We welcome other companies’ contributions of time, but not money."

　　项目基金的每一部分钱都是由阿里巴巴公司筹集来的，马云称:“我们欢迎其他公司加入，但不会让你们投入资金。”

　　The poverty relief course will be carried out as part of the strategic business of Alibaba.
