　　A subsidiary of Chinese trainmaker, China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), said Saturday it had established an Asia-Pacific headquarters and a research & development center in Australia.

　　周六，中国中车公司一子公司制造商表示，已经在澳大利亚设立亚太总部和研发中心。

　　The Melbourne-based headquarters will help provide technology support for train design, manufacturing and maintenance in the region, according to CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Company in Northeast China’s Jilin province.

　　通过位于我国东北部吉林省的中国中车长春轨道客车公司了解到，总部在墨尔本的公司将给这一区域的列车在设计，制造，保养维护上提供技术支持。

　　The office will create more job and export opportunities for local train manufacturers, said Wang Run, chairman of CRRC Changchun.

　　中国中车长春轨道客车股份有限公司董事长王润表示：“研发中心将为当地列车制造商创造更多的就业机会和出口机会”。

　　The office employs 41 local workers.

　　研发中心目前已聘请41名当地雇员。

　　In November 2016, CRRC Changchun signed a deal with Victoria to build high-capacity metro trains worth $1.5 billion, the biggest metro train purchasing project in the Australian state’s history.

　　2016年11月，CRRC(中国中车)长春与维多利亚(州)签署了一项协议，建造价值15亿美元的大容量地铁列车，这是澳大利亚历史上最大的地铁采购项目。

　　CRRC Changchun has more than 18,000 employees and annually manufactures more than 8,000 trains.

　　中国中车长春部有18000多名员工，并且年产列车超过8000辆。
