Describe something that you want to learn more.
What it is?
How would you learn it?
Where you can learn it?
And explain why you want to keep learning it.
well,if there's something I'd like to learn more about, even become proficient in,it must be the skill of public speaking.I'm terrified of speaking in front of the crowd. But recently,my English teacher saidthat,in the coming term, he would requireall of us to do presentation about different topics, like films, books,or events. It'sreally urgent for me to improve it.
As a beginner,I will definitely call in experts to help me,which means I'll choose to attend a sort of public speaking course, because itmay help me increase my proficiency in some techniques, such as how toorganisemy speech, how to usebody language and vocal variety, and stuff like that. Anyway,I believe this kind of course could serve as a guide to train me on these skill sets.
Currently there're plenty of them, online or face-to-face. I prefer,if it's possible,to do face-to-face one since I really want to overcome my fear of speaking in public.I wouldn't achieve it if I do this course online because there would be no audience sitting in front of me and making me nervous.
Apart from the reason I mentioned before,I think learning public speaking could bring me more benefits. For instance,it could help me build up my confidence 'cause I'll finally overcome myfeeling of fear an anxiety. It also may develop my leadership skills as a good public speaker can influence and persuade others by words. So it's absolutely worth learning public speaking skill.
