我喜欢用 Evernote 做单词笔记,比如自己在读经济学人的时候看到了下面这个句子：
The two firms wield enormous clout in financial market
我感觉 wield 和 clout 这两个单词用的真心好。我这边截屏了我写的 wield 这个单词的笔记内容。一般来说，中文：拥有权力，一般翻译就是：maintain power 。而 wield比 maintain 高级好多 。在记忆联想里面我用 《红海行动》，《头号玩家》，宫斗剧来记忆它的基本意思---拿，掌握。
然后，把如下例句念超过10遍 ，先慢读，一个单词单词的念，在逐步加快速度，直到非常流利的背出来！这时候，wield这个单词的用法就已经熟练掌握了！
我一直都感觉，学习这种东西，就是把新东西内化，所以重复的练习是非常重要的！
我笔记里面还整理了《简·爱 》第18章里面有关 Wileld的片段：
