美股暴跌，两大“黑天鹅”相遇！什么是熔断机制？（双语）

　　美国三大股指9日开盘暴跌，其中道指下跌近1900点，触发熔断机制，临时停盘15分钟，这是2008年金融危机以来美股首次熔断。

　　The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank by more than 1,800 points minutes after the market opened and the S&P 500 plunged by 7 percent, triggering a "circuit breaker" that halted all trading for 15 minutes.

　　熔断机制是什么?

　　熔断机制的英文是circuit breaker mechanism，其中，circuit breaker在电工学里就是断路器的意思。当电路中出现短路时，断路器会立即断开电路，保护负载的安全。

　　The circuit breaker mechanism refers to measures adopted by stock exchanges to temporarily halt trading to avert panic selling after the stock index has fallen a certain percentage.

　　熔断机制是指股指下跌一定比例后，证券交易所采取暂停交易以避免恐慌性抛售的措施。

　　美国首次推出熔断机制的动因是1987年的“黑色星期一”。在美国交易时段，熔断机制可以分为三级。

　　(1) 一级市场熔断，是指市场下跌达到7%(2) 二级市场熔断，是指市场下跌达到13%(3) 三级市场熔断，是指市场下跌达到20%

　　这次标普500指数下跌7%，触发第一层熔断。

　　再度开盘交易后，市场恐慌情绪仍未消减，股市继续下探。

　　截至当天收盘，道琼斯工业平均指数下跌2013.76点，收于23851.02点，跌幅为7.79%。标准普尔500种股票指数下跌225.81点，收于2746.56点，跌幅为7.60%。纳斯达克综合指数下跌624.94点，收于7950.68点，跌幅为7.29%。

　　The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank by 7.8% or more than 2,000 points - the biggest points-drop in history and the largest decline in percentage terms since the financial crisis. The S&P 500 fell 7.6%, while the Nasdaq dropped about 7.3%.

　　板块方面，标普500指数十一大板块全线下跌。其中，能源板块、金融板块和材料板块分别以20.08%、10.91%和9.26%的跌幅领跌。

　　受到大盘下跌影响，包括苹果、微软、谷歌、特斯拉等几乎所有科技类股票在当日均大幅下跌。

　　About $250 billion has been erased from the stock market value of Microsoft (MSFT.O) since Feb. 19, more than any other US company. Apple (AAPL.O) and Alphabet (GOOGL.O) have seen their values shrink by over $200 billion each, while Amazon (AMZN.O) has lost $170 billion in market capitalization.
