Task1:Which of the following aspects do you think contributes most to a country’s success: many business opportunities, well-rounded medical care system or a developed education system?
第一句:直接表明自己观点;
第二句:论点1—教育是国家之本;
第三句:例证1—优秀的人才可以更好地建设国家,让国家良性发展;
第四句:论点2—教育使人明理;
第五句:例证2—受过良好教育的人可以体现更高的素质,让国家的整体素质和声誉得到提升;
Sample Answer:
I think a developed education system is the aspect which contributes most to a country’s success. First, I believe education is the basic of a country’s development. Good education will benefit the country with more talents from whom we can expect a promising future. Second, good education leads to a society with higher quality. As a consequence, the overall quality of population of country will be increased and therefore makes the country more reputable. As a conclusion, a developed education system is the most important factor for a successful country.
Task2:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? With the popularity of technologies that focus on entertainment, people read fewer books than before.
Sample Answer:
I agree with the statement that people read fewer books due to the entertainment based on technology. First of all, before the explosion of new entertainments, reading has been people’s favorite pastime. Now, some of us are more engaged in and spend more time on various social media or new APPs. Secondly, the society has changed it is shallower and shallower. Reading is the noblest action but it has been replaced by new means of entertainment with more technologies. So I believe people tend to read fewer books due to the popularity of technologies that focus on entertainment.
