国际班寒假美国游学冬令营活动游记

2017年1月31日~2月14日寒假期间，在校领导的大力支持下，国际班的同学们在老师的带领下顺利开展了美国游学活动。通过此次游学，同学们扩大了视野，增长了见识。相信这样的游学活动会在同学们心中埋下奋斗的种子，期待着它生根发芽的一天！

（一） 世界那么大，我要去看看

——我的美国游学之旅

世界那么大，我要去看看... ...

对于没有出过国门的我来说，第一次出国就来到了我一直向往的美国，是一件令人期待的事情。

城市印象

坐在飞往洛杉矶的航班上，我想象洛杉矶应该是像中国、上海、北京这种大都市，到处都是摩登大厦，霓虹闪烁。可是下了飞机，映入眼帘的却是连绵起伏的山脉，大片大片的农田，与之前的想象完全不同。我看到的洛杉矶倒是与中国的云南大理很像，遍地是牛羊，还有蓝蓝的天空，白云飘荡在空中仿佛触手可及。这就是洛杉矶，这座“天使之城”给我的的第一个印象。沿途的风景令我着迷，我的手停不下来似的一直在拍照，同学都笑话我拍照着魔了。当晚我们就住在了洛杉矶。有点陌生，有点兴奋，一切都是那么新奇！

第二天，我们前往旧金山，这是一座美国加利福尼亚州太平洋沿岸港口城市，也是世界著名旅游胜地之一。那里的华人总数量仅次于纽约。导游开玩笑的告诉我们在这里迷了路，不会英文也不用害怕，分分钟能见到华人。他还说旧金山正如其名，其实就是是一座旧了的金山。哈哈，真有趣！在旧金山我终于看到了高楼大厦。街道上也会看到很多流浪汉，躺在路边，晒晒太阳，无所事事。接下来几天，我们参观了金门大桥，星光大道，九曲花街，硅谷等多个地方。这些之前只在电视和杂志上看到的地方，现在都留下了我的足迹，这种感觉如同做梦一般！

接待家庭

最让我期待的是入住寄宿家庭。我和同学们被分在了不同的寄宿家庭里。接待我的家庭很友善也很特别。同学们都羡慕我有一个从事警察的“美国妈妈”和一个酷爱摩托车的“美国爸爸”，“爸爸”自己改装了一台摩托车放在车库里，来人就炫耀，实在是太酷了！家里还有一个三岁的妹妹和一个六岁的弟弟，像我这种小女生最不能抵挡的就是小萝莉、小正太了，每次看见他们总爱捏捏他们的小脸。美国的爸爸妈妈总是喜欢和我聊天，问问我这，问问我那，我的脑袋一天到晚不停的在玩转英文，虽然我说的有点慢，但是发现不知不觉中自己也能够和他们交流很长时间，顿时有不少的成就感呢！

学校体验

收获最大的当然还是进入美国高中课堂一个星期的学习体验。在中国，学生们拥有固定的教室，老师来不同的班级上课。而美国恰恰相反，每一个老师都有自己的教室，学生可以选择自己喜爱的老师和课程去上课。每天早晨八点上课，上午两节课，上到十一点半左右，上完就可以去领一份食物来吃。午饭的时间很紧张，大概只有半个小时左右，所以我和我的美国小伙伴都是下了课便匆匆忙忙去领食物，生怕来不及。下午也只有两节课，三点半就放学了。放学后会有各种课外活动，这让我们很是羡慕。外国的作业确实不多，大部分都可以直接在课堂上完成，有时候作业还挺有趣的。比如有次上物理课学位移时，老师让同学编出一个小故事，根据编的故事画出图像，让同学一个一个上来讲自己的小故事，这些小故事让课堂趣意横生，学生们都积极参加。当然美国的学生不是没有学习压力的，他们很多的学习任务需要自己去课后完成，所以在这里，自学能力很重要。

14天的游学活动很快就结束了，但是踏上飞机的那一刻我更坚定了我的目标。作为一名国际班的学生，我是幸运的，我希望以后能够通过自己的努力申请到我理想的国外大学，因为“世界那么大，我要去看看！”

My Travel in the United States

In the morning of January 31st, I was excited because my friends and I were going to the United States for the first time.

At first, we took a shuttle bus to the Nanjing airport and then we stayed at the airport for two hours. Unfortunately, we got the message that our flight would be delayed ten hours, so we had to stay at a hotel. Finally, around half past eleven in the evening, we boarded the plane from Nanjing to Los Angeles. After a twelve-hour flight, we finally arrived wearily to Los Angeles, where we stayed at a hotel.

On our first day, we visited the Intel headquarters. It is the cradle of modern IT Technology. We went to the Apple Campus and took several photos there.

On our second day, we went to San Francisco. We would go to four sights. At first, we went to the town hall, which is very big and beautiful and there are a lot of Chinese people living there. It’s a classic masterpiece. Then we went to California Palace of the Legion of Honor, a very famous building in San Francisco. There are a lot of visitors every day. The Golden Gate Bridge is in San Francisco and it is a majestic bridge. Throughout this sightseeing we took lots of pictures and then we went to eat at Chinese restaurant.

In the afternoon, we went to Lombard Street. We went through the three streets until we finally arrived. We could look see the entire city of San Francisco.

On the third day, we went to the Monterey Bay to enjoy the 17-mile Gold Coast. Afterwards we went back to Los Angeles, where we went to Santa Barbara to visit the beautiful beach.

The next morning, we went to Disneyland to have fun there for a whole day, this is what we’ve been waiting for! We got on a lot of exciting rides. I think the most interesting one is the rollercoaster. I got on it six times! Finally, we felt a little bored so we went to the supermarket to buy some snacks that we liked very much. Most of the trip, we ate western food and only a few times we ate Chinese food.

On the next day, we went to Chinatown and Little Tokyo. We stayed there for a short amount of time. In the afternoon, we headed to meet our host family. Our families were very kind to us, they provided us with everything, from preparing food for us to driving us to school for a whole week.

In the United States’ schools, students go to school at 8’clock in the morning and finish school at half past three in the afternoon. This is unthinkable in China. Their school life is colorful and energetic. We also had our study friends and we taught our languages to each other and talked about our different school life.

It was a very exciting and fantastic trip for me and is also the most unforgettable experience of my life.
