让孩子爱上英文如此简单

说到英语学习，这是个让不少家长和学生头疼的问题。

传统的背单词，学语法，刷考题，这种任务式的学习目标很容易本末倒置，把语言这种手段变成了目的。结果就是强迫自己完成每天的学习量，然后立刻将英语抛诸脑后，完全没有付诸使用，这也正是人们常常提到的“语言环境”的重要性。

国际游学，让学生进入一个纯英文的学习环境中，打开他们说英语的嘴，激发他们学习英语的兴趣，增强他们的英文表达能力。这既是一个验证英语能力的过程也是学习英语的过程。

今天我们选择了营员的英文日记，看看他们的游学成长也看看他们在游学中日渐增强的英文表达能力。

　　Federico said he is an 18-year-old immigrant who was born in Italy and came to The UK five years ago.

　　He has a good command of four languages: English, Italian, French and Latin; also he knows some Arabic. Really knowledgeable, he sure is. We talk a lot with him, about everything you can imagine: Geography, languages, agriculture, medicine, chemistry, astronomy and even politics! The best thing is that his accent is normative, so we can understand each other--that's very important. Communicating with Federico, I enlarge my vocabulary and develop my pronunciation everyday naturally. I guess that's why I'm here enjoying the tour.

　　Federico, you are the most unforgettable person during my stay in England, and this'll surely be regarded as the most valuable experience during my global study tour.

　　费德里克说，他是一个18岁的移民，出生在意大利，五年前来到英国。他精通四门语言：英语、意大利语、法语和拉丁语；他还懂一些阿拉伯语。他是真正的博学。我们和他谈了很多，你能想象的一切：地理，语言，农业，医学，化学，天文学，甚至政治！最好的是他的口音是标准的，所以我们可以互相理解——这是非常重要的。与费德里克交流，我自然每天扩大词汇量，提高发音能力。我想这就是为什么我在这里享受游学的原因。费德里克，你是我在英国期间最难忘的人，这会被视为我游学期间最有价值的经验。

　　A better you, a bigger world.

　　When the sun rose, a new day began.  The first class is activity, I had more communication with my English buddy. I taught him how to read and write my name in Chinese. He asked me about his name and showed off around the class. It seems that my classmates are interested in Chinese culture and we knew each other deeper.

　　Today, I learned a lot.

　　Firstly, I'm proud of my country. China is getting stronger and stronger, and we should try our best to make it more beautiful. Secondly, I realized the importance of communication. When you talk to others, your friendship will be stronger. In a foreign country, we should communicate with others as we can .

　　一个更好的你，一个更大的世界，当太阳升起，新的一天开始。第一堂课是活动，我和我的英语伙伴有更多的交流。我教他如何用中文读和写我的名字。他问我关于他的名字，然后在班上到处炫耀。看来我的同学对中国文化很感兴趣，我们彼此了解得更深。今天，我学到了很多东西。首先，我为我的祖国感到自豪。中国越来越强大，我们应该尽力使它更漂亮。其次，我认识到沟通的重要性。当你和别人交谈时，你的友谊会更强烈。在国外，我们应该多和别人交谈。

　　Studying is a lifelong journey The third day of the trip, there's nothing much to do but go to school.

　　Today let's discuss about the class in England. It's different from Canadian PGIC, we enter the real high school in England and see how the students study every day. The class from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It includs 4 subject s. Every subject has it own classroom, students according to their class schedule able to choose different classroom. Students can laugh and talk with others. When a student asks teacher a question, the teacher will answer him patiently.

　　Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, this kind of teaching method will active our mind.and make them think about this question carefully. But on the other hand, the class is noisy. Students didn't show the British traditional manners to us. So whether school should allow student talk freely in the class or not, Who knows? They also have many subjects, such as English, math, PE, society, science, geography and so on. I think studying is a lifelong journey, let's keep studying!

　　学习是人生的旅程，游学的第三天。最多的就是去学校上课。 今天我们来讨论一下英国的课程。它不同于加拿大PGIC语言学校课程，我们进入英国中学看看学生学习的每一天。从上午9点至下午3:00点，它包括4个主题类。每个科目都有自己的教室，学生根据自己的班级表来选择不同的教室。学生可以和别人聊天。当学生问老师问题时，老师会耐心地回答他。任何事物都有两面性。一方面，这种教学方法会培养学生的思维能力，使他们认真思考这个问题。但另一方面，这个班很吵。学生们没有向我们展示英国的传统礼仪。那么，学校是否应该允许学生在课堂上自由交谈，谁知道呢？他们也有很多科目，如英语、数学、PE、社会、科学、地理等等。我认为学习是一辈子的旅程，让我们继续学习！
